I'm the artist and owner behind Modern Twist Macrame and Modern Twist Makers!

Modern Twist Makers is a new store that opened in Tariffville, Connecticut. The shop showcases my macramé artwork along with other local artists. Those artists range from potters, painters, photographers, crocheters, authors, illustrators and more. Along with selling artwork in the shop, I also hold classes where you can learn how to create your own macramé artwork. I have also begun an ongoing monthly meetup for local artists to talk about both the creative and business side of their craft.

I am local artist who has been making macramé artwork for over 10 years. I started making macramé as a way to relax and de-stress, and soon found that I had a knack for it. I started selling my artwork online and at local craft fairs, and quickly gained a following.

When I opened Modern Twist Makers, I wanted to create a space where local artists could showcase their work and connect with other artists. I also wanted to create a space where people could learn about macramé and other art forms.

The shop is filled with my own macramé artwork, as well as the work of other local artists. You can find everything from wall hangings to plant hangers to purses. I also offers a variety of classes for kids and adults. In my macrame classes, you can learn how to make your own macramé artwork, or you can learn about other art forms, such as painting or pottery from other local artists.

I also offer monthly meetups for local artists as a great way to connect with other artists in the community. At the meetup, artists can share their work, talk about their business, and get support from other artists.
