About the event

Location: Gather On Hopmeadow's Craft and Party Room

Workshop dates: March 11, 18, 25, April 1

Join Alison and TJ in a mindful yoga class where we will relax, cultivate and practice loving kindness to ourselves. From this gentle place of awareness we will connect with our true selves and find our writing voices. 

With each session we will explore different creative writing skills and build on our mindful practices.  

Please wear comfortable clothes, a yoga mat and a blanket. Also, bring a journal, pen and  art supplies or craft items you feel inspired to decorate with. 

This class is great for ages 12+

Bio

Alison has been dedicated to helping people find their writing voice through the mind/body connection for over 20 years as a classroom educator. She is a passionate teacher who uses gentle yoga practices, mindfulness, creativity and writing to deepen her students' understanding of themselves and others.  Alison Ide-Pech is a retired CT certified classroom educator and certified yoga teacher. 

TJ is the author of several books, two of them award-winning.  She has taught writing workshops in Connecticut and Massachusetts and believes that writing is a powerful tool for self-discovery.
