Guest Artist / Workshop Instructor

Have a workshop of your own that you’d love to bring to Gather? Guest artists bring their own creative ideas and expertise to our studio while Gather helps provide the space, registration, and promotion.

Opportunities to teach one-time, seasonal, monthly, or recurring workshops depending on interest and availability
Workshops typically run 1–2 hours
Guest artists provide the majority of supplies and teaching materials needed for their workshop
Workshops generally accommodate 4–16 participants, depending on the project
Gather creates and manages the online registration page and collects participant payments
Gather promotes workshops through our website, social media, in-store signage, and other community channels
Workshop registration is generally split 70% to the instructor / 30% to Gather, with a minimum of $50 to Gather
Instructors are paid after the workshop has been completed
Guest artists are paid as independent contractors and may receive a 1099 when applicable
